Growing up together, semi-wild in large flocks on endless fields in Extremadura, Southern Spain, purebred Spanish horses enjoy their day together. According to tradition, mares and foals live outdoors all year-round, no matter what temperature or weather. This creates mentally and physically tough horses for working with the bulls on the fields during endless working days. These characteristics are also useful for the breeding of today’s dressage PRE.
